About the role
The Planning Manager will lead the project planning function for large‑scale construction projects in the UAE/GCC region. This senior role involves preparing baseline programmes, monitoring performance, and managing claims and risks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain resource‑loaded baseline programmes using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project performance, prepare progress reports and delay analyses.
- Manage EOT claim preparation and overall risk/claim management.
- Review and approve subcontractor schedules.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Project Planning Team.
Required profile
- 12‑15 years of experience in construction/project controls, with 5‑8 years in a managerial planning role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent and PMP certification.
Required skills
- Primavera P6
- MS Office
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Extension of Time (EOT) claim management
- Familiarity with FIDIC and UAE construction contracts
