Blending Engineer – Lubricant Manufacturing

About the role

The Blending Engineer will lead lubricant blending operations at our Fujairah Free Zone facility, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency. You will work closely with quality, supply chain, and production teams to deliver high‑performance lubricant formulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily blending operations for lubricant formulations, maintaining strict quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve blending procedures to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor raw‑material usage, blending ratios, and equipment calibration to guarantee consistent product performance.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to test, validate, and certify blended products.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout the blending process.
• Identify and resolve blending‑related issues, applying corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Maintain detailed production records, batch logs, and performance reports for management review.
• Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure adequate raw‑material availability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to blending operators.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and product innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in blending operations, lubricant manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory testing of chemical blends is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
