Bodyshop Supervisor – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

The Bodyshop Supervisor for Commercial Vehicles will lead insurance‑related operations within United Diesel’s bodyshop, ensuring efficient claim processing and driving business growth through strong insurer and fleet partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed repair estimates for insurance cases.
• Follow up on approvals, minimise rejections and expedite delayed claims.
• Maintain complete documentation for each claim, including numbers, approvals and repair orders.
• Proactively contact insurance companies and fleet customers to generate new repair jobs.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key insurance partners and large fleet accounts.
• Negotiate corporate claim procedures and ensure smooth repair handling.
• Provide customers with regular updates on claim status, repair progress and vehicle readiness.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Manager and Parts Department to guarantee timely repairs.
• Report weekly and monthly on workflow, claim volume, approval rates and outstanding jobs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive bodyshop operations or insurance claim handling.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with insurers and fleet managers.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent documentation and filing practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly revenue and profitability targets.
