Branch Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

Managing the Al Silaa branch to maximise new business opportunities, deepen existing relationships and ensure service delivery complies with Islamic Sharia requirements while controlling risks.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through marketing calls, open‑door policy and in‑branch contacts; set and monitor sales plans for various product lines.
• Monitor service standards, handle customer complaints, retain clients and gather ad‑hoc feedback.
• Control operations to ensure compliance with ADIB’s credit and operational policies, approve credit applications and implement process improvements.
• Mentor and coach branch staff, maintain morale, identify training needs and evaluate performance against scorecards.
• Oversee profitability and governance of regional branches allocated to the manager.

Required profile

• Detailed knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Broad understanding of ADIB’s retail credit and operational policies.
• Familiarity with UAE banking practices, regulations, risks and Central Bank directives.
• Awareness of local market competitors.
• Knowledge of service standards, training and presentation techniques.
• Sales, marketing and management information expertise.
• Strong computer proficiency.
