Budgeting and Analysis Manager

About the role

The Budgeting and Analysis Manager will lead the development and execution of the company’s budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives and provides decision‑support insights across business divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain institutional planning and budgeting processes, including manuals, templates and tools.
• Lead the annual budget cycle and update the five‑year strategic forecast.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and decision‑support reports on cost drivers.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards for division KPIs.
• Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts.
• Submit budget reports for senior management review and approval.
• Project future financial needs and support senior officials in resource management.
• Consolidate data for budget presentations and provide financial status overviews.
• Drive the migration of internal reports from Excel to a business‑intelligence tool.
• Establish a quarterly forecast process to meet key financial targets.
• Provide coverage for the Finance Manager when absent.
• Generate reports using the SAP system.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in finance planning and analysis within a medium to large, preferably international, organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, budget analysis and financial planning.
• Strong knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
