Business and Economics Teacher (Start August)

About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a Business and Economics Teacher to join GEMS Founders School in Masdar City for the academic year beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the Business and Economics curriculum to secondary students, fostering a creative and enthusiastic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student achievement.
• Participate in professional development programmes and share exemplary teaching practices.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business and Economics, or an equivalent qualification such as a PGCE with QTS.
• Demonstrated track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Strong aspiration to work in a world‑class, British‑accredited school.
