Business Data Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join a global leader in data infrastructure and analytics on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while delivering data‑driven insights that support key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform raw data from multiple sources for analysis.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
• Validate data integrity and ensure consistency across datasets.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, concise formats.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical results to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Hands‑on expertise with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
• Ability to handle unstructured and large‑scale datasets efficiently.
