Business Development Manager – Cloud Services (Dubai)

About the role

Alibaba Cloud UAE is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its cloud portfolio in the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and help shape the regional business development strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue and customer experience for Alibaba Cloud services.
• Identify, qualify and pursue potential clients across multiple industries.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
• Lead client meetings and presentations to showcase Alibaba Cloud solutions.
• Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Advocate customer requirements within Alibaba Cloud and act as the company’s representative in client environments.
• Collaborate with the Alibaba Cloud Architect team to align offerings with customer architectures and improve IT efficiency.
• Escalate issues with Alibaba Cloud service teams when needed.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for key accounts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience in technology or cloud computing within the Middle East.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
• Strong ability to prospect and build relationships with new accounts.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and results‑oriented with solid business acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
