Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will join POA.ae’s Dubai office to drive growth of its legal and corporate services. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships and expanding the company’s market presence locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UAE and abroad.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate contracts aligned with POA.ae’s service offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine service propositions and improve the sales process.
• Track sales performance, produce regular forecasts and reports for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development, sales or account management.
• Experience in client relationship management, networking and stakeholder engagement, preferably within legal, corporate or professional services.
• Strong analytical and research abilities for market analysis and opportunity assessment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Good understanding of the UAE business environment; familiarity with legal documentation is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law or a related field; relevant certifications are beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
