Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of QIMA’s client portfolio across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with importers, distributors and retailers of apparel, toys, electronics and other consumer goods, promoting our testing, inspection and certification services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new B2B customers across the region through inbound enquiries, digital channels, referrals, networking and trade events.
• Qualify prospects and manage the full sales cycle, tailoring QIMA’s solutions to each client’s supply‑chain requirements.
• Expand existing accounts by cross‑selling additional services and digital quality‑compliance tools.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in QIMA’s CRM, using data and market insights to prioritize high‑value opportunities.
• Represent QIMA at regional industry exhibitions and build brand awareness among Middle‑East brands, retailers and trading houses.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery from proposal to service execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within quality control, testing, inspection, certification or supply‑chain services.
• Established network of decision‑makers (sourcing, QA/QC or procurement) at retailers, importers or distributors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline management.
