About the role
RAKBANK is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive mortgage sales through third‑party channels such as real estate brokers, financial advisors and institutional partners. The role will expand the bank’s mortgage portfolio by building strategic relationships and ensuring high‑quality customer acquisition.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners including real estate agencies, mortgage brokers and developers.
- Conduct regular training and engagement sessions to keep partners informed about mortgage products and policies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly mortgage sales targets through channel partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the sales pipeline.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and application processing for customers referred through channels.
- Provide high‑standard customer service throughout the mortgage journey.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes, and relay insights to product and marketing teams.
- Assist clients throughout the mortgage application process, coordinating documentation collection and submission.
- Liaise with internal departments (credit, operations, legal) and external stakeholders (valuers, developers) to ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal policies, recording all activities in CRM systems.
Required profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in retail banking or direct sales (preferred).
- Good understanding of banking products and services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
- Ability to meet cross‑sell ratios, compliance and documentation quality standards and deliver customer satisfaction during onboarding.
