Business Development Representative - MENA

About the role

GitLab is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive growth across the MENA region. This 100% remote position focuses on generating qualified meetings and pipeline for enterprise and mid‑market accounts, collaborating closely with field, marketing, sales, and customer‑success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting initiatives to create qualified meetings and pipeline in the assigned MENA territory.
• Conduct high‑level discovery conversations with target accounts to understand business needs and qualify opportunities.
• Partner with Digital Marketing, Field, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align outreach and messaging.
• Leverage creative marketing and sales tactics to engage multiple buyer personas and introduce GitLab’s value proposition.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and pipeline metrics.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and strategic mindset with a strong interest in technology sales.
• Diverse background; experience in closing roles or team management is valued.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication and discovery skills to engage senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the GitLab platform and its DevOps capabilities.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and practices.
