Business Insights & Analytics Lead, Gulf

About the role

Lilly’s Gulf affiliate is building an AI‑enabled engagement model across healthcare professionals and consumers. The Business Insights & Analytics Lead will own the regional insights function, define data requirements, govern data quality, and turn analytics into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to the leadership team, surfacing performance risks, growth opportunities and market shifts before they are requested.
• Lead advanced analytics and predictive work, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Own the Gulf data and analytics roadmap, defining regional data needs and governing definitions and quality.
• Collaborate with global technology and regional teams to specify requirements and integrate customer, engagement and commercial data.
• Ensure insights drive decisions rather than merely reporting historical performance.
• Navigate distributor‑mediated data, limited sell‑out visibility and tender‑driven public channels in Kuwait and Qatar.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in analytics, insights or data‑driven decision making, preferably within pharma or life‑sciences.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders with data‑based recommendations.
• Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, distributor data flows and public tender environments.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑growing, cross‑functional setting and managing ambiguity.
