Business Researcher – Economic & Market Analysis

About the role

The Business Researcher will lead high‑quality economic and business research that supports Dubai Chambers members and helps shape a favourable business environment in Dubai. You will translate complex data into actionable insights for senior management and policy makers.

Key responsibilities

• Design research frameworks, surveys and analytical models.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative economic, sectoral and market studies.
• Analyse trade, investment and business data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to inform strategic planning and policy development.
• Present findings in clear, business‑friendly formats to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecasting, scenario analysis and economic outlook reports.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, International Trade, Finance or related field (PhD acceptable).
• 4‑6 years of experience in economic research, business analysis or consulting.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic and business indicators.
• Experience managing research projects and working with large datasets.
• High proficiency in English and Arabic (reading, speaking, writing).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of R or STATA (or similar analytical software).
• Strong research and report‑writing abilities.
