Business Support Group Controller – Innovation Space

About the role

The Business Support Group Controller will oversee the implementation of information systems projects across Emirates Engineering and Maintenance units. The role ensures that new software and system enhancements are thoroughly tested, integrated, and supported to keep fleet operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Acceptance Test Packs for new functions, modules and complete systems in collaboration with functional areas.
• Coordinate between Engineering, IT and other departments to resolve system‑related issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor progress of ongoing engineering and maintenance system projects and report strategic problems to management.
• Own the scope and completeness of functional definitions for business support applications.
• Guide core project teams and working groups on software deployment acceptance.
• Consult business managers to define workflow, roles and responsibilities and obtain approvals.
• Maintain logs of developments, software errors and procedural fixes for review and action.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Science, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Engineering, Flight Operations, Network Control or similar areas.
• 3+ years of experience developing specifications for business requirements and providing user support on systems.
• Knowledge of airline engineering systems and emerging digital technologies.
