Business Unit Manager – Laundry

About the role

The Business Unit Manager – Laundry will lead the laundry division in Dubai, driving revenue growth, profitability and operational excellence. This senior position reports to senior management and is responsible for setting strategic direction, managing the sales team and ensuring high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own profit and loss, define annual budget and quarterly targets, and ensure timely delivery of financial goals.
• Implement the company’s strategic direction, including customer development, sales strategy and pricing policy.
• Support business development initiatives with a focus on margin improvement.
• Lead and manage the corporate and retail laundry sales teams to increase revenue and customer satisfaction, providing monthly performance reports.
• Develop and monitor performance targets for the laundry manager and senior sales manager.
• Analyze existing procedures and introduce new methods to boost efficiency and safety standards.
• Attract, retain and develop talent to build a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of laundry experience in the UAE.
• Strong business development capabilities.
• A degree in hospitality with a vocational training certificate in laundry operations.
• MBA degree is desirable.
