Cabin Workshop Technician (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a GCAA CAR V‑approved aircraft maintenance facility, is seeking a Cabin Workshop Technician as part of its Emiratisation programme. The role involves maintaining, calibrating, and finishing cabin components and tools for Emirates and third‑party aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, calibration, modification and approved structural repairs on cabin components and tools.
• Interpret and follow Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and other approved documentation.
• Assist supervisors and engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification and modifications.
• Maintain clean work areas, ensure FOD‑free environments and keep toolboxes audited.
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and communicating safety shortfalls.
• Complete tasks promptly to minimise turnaround time and avoid operational delays.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emiratisation requirement).
• Relevant training or experience in aircraft cabin maintenance, calibration or surface finishing.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed technical procedures.

Required skills

• Aircraft component maintenance.
• Calibration of tools and equipment.
• Surface finishing and painting techniques.
• Use of maintenance manuals (AMM, IPC, CMM, SPM).
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards.
