Calibration Technician - UAE

About the role

The Calibration Technician will be based in Abu Dhabi and will support short‑term calibration activities for critical and non‑critical process equipment and laboratory standards. The role involves direct interaction with UAE military units and external vendors to ensure high‑quality calibration services.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, perform, and document calibration of process equipment and laboratory standards.
• Coordinate repair and calibration services with external vendors and assist with purchase order processing.
• Develop, implement, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal calibrations.
• Participate in calibration system audits and provide responsive customer service.
• Conduct maintenance activities in line with US Army AR 750‑1 concepts.
• Transfer functional knowledge to UAE Calibration Technicians through on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave technologies.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in equipment calibration.
• Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi on a short‑term assignment.
