Centre Manager

About the role

Absolute Adventure is seeking an organised and proactive Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of Kalba Mountain Camp in Sharjah. The role combines site leadership, programme coordination and staff supervision to ensure safe, high‑quality outdoor experiences for schools and youth groups.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of camp operations, including accommodation, facilities, schedules and programme flow, ensuring readiness for incoming groups.
• Coordinate on‑site programme delivery, allocate staff effectively and maintain standards across all activity areas.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for visiting schools and group leaders, providing a professional and smooth guest experience.
• Supervise instructors and support staff, conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks and provide performance feedback.
• Monitor quality of programme delivery, coach senior instructors and identify training needs.
• Enforce safety, safeguarding and welfare protocols, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Oversee the condition of facilities and equipment, report maintenance needs and ensure cleanliness and functionality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing outdoor residential programmes, camps or experiential learning environments.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff teams.
• Strong organisational and operational coordination skills.
• Experience working with schools and educational groups.
• Relevant First Aid qualification.
• Full UAE driving licence or ability to obtain one.
• Solid understanding of risk management and safety procedures.
