About the role

The Charge Nurse for Tower A6 in the Pediatrics Wing oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality care. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the role combines clinical expertise with administrative coordination to support a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily schedules, staff assignments, and patient care activities within the unit.
• Monitor patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient‑ and family‑centered care.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and safe work environments.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing and support staff.
• Oversee efficient use of human resources, consumables, and equipment.
• Administer medications and collaborate with pharmacy services.
• Respond to emergencies according to organizational policies.
• Facilitate clinical handovers, patient rounds, and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience supervising and coaching nursing staff.
