About the role

A growing organization in the chemical industry is seeking a Chemical Engineer – Procurement to manage vendor relationships, support technical procurement processes, and ensure the consistent supply of high‑quality chemical products. The role requires a technically strong candidate with a passion for chemistry who can collaborate closely with internal technical teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure the consistent supply of high‑quality chemical products.
• Collaborate with the technical team to align procurement activities with internal quality standards and technical specifications.
• Gradually build in‑depth knowledge of company products to support the sales team and engage in technical discussions with vendors.
• Secure the best possible pricing while maintaining high product quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to optimise procurement processes and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in procurement or sales of chemical raw materials is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with European markets is a plus.
• Native or near‑native English proficiency for effective communication with international partners.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
