Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial strategy of a diversified media, events and investments group based in Dubai. Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will drive governance, multi‑entity consolidation and Oracle Fusion‑enabled digital transformation while ensuring financial transparency for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define long‑term financial strategy with the CEO and Board, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and capital allocation.
• Manage financial operations for content, licensing, advertising and digital revenue, ensuring IFRS 15 compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, cost tracking and revenue reconciliation for festivals and major events, delivering real‑time dashboards and post‑event analysis.
• Structure and monitor sponsorship, funding and grant arrangements, providing audit‑ready reporting.
• Lead cash management, banking relationships, financing activities and risk management, including scenario modelling.
• Ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax, VAT, ESR and lead IFRS 18 readiness, e‑invoicing implementation and consolidation.
• Optimize Oracle Fusion ERP, automate workflows and implement AI‑driven forecasting and analytics.
• Lead and develop finance teams across all functions, fostering high performance.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic.
• Extensive senior‑level finance leadership experience (approximately 15 years).
• Proven track record in multi‑entity groups, preferably within media, large‑scale events or sponsorship‑driven businesses.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
