Chief System Analyst – IT Infrastructure & Services

About the role

The Roads and Transport Authority is seeking a Chief System Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of its IT infrastructure. You will ensure that data‑center, network, server, and cloud environments are highly available, secure, and scalable to support current operations and future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose enhancements for performance and reliability.
• Design and optimise infrastructure solutions across data‑centres, networks, servers and cloud platforms (Azure, VMware, etc.).
• Develop capacity‑planning, performance‑optimisation and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Analyse system data to identify root causes of complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with application and operations teams to provide efficient infrastructure support.
• Prepare analytical reports, technical documentation and architectural blueprints.
• Develop and review infrastructure standards, policies and road‑maps.
• Integrate on‑premises and cloud environments and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Oversee infrastructure projects, budgets and cost‑optimisation activities.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, manage supplier contracts and ensure adherence to ITIL‑based service management frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT engineering, computer science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably in large‑scale infrastructure environments.
