Chinese & English Speaking Sourcing Agent / Translator

About the role

Jackpot Technologies LLC is seeking a bilingual Chinese‑English professional to act as a sourcing agent and translator. Based in Dubai, you will connect the UAE team with Chinese manufacturers, handling procurement, negotiations and clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate Chinese suppliers through platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Taobao and WeChat.
• Obtain quotations, specifications, samples and production timelines, and compare offers on price, quality and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate sample approvals, production orders and shipping logistics from China to the UAE.
• Translate written documents (quotations, contracts, invoices, product specs) and provide real‑time interpretation during calls and meetings.
• Maintain organized records of suppliers, quotations and ongoing negotiations.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers and proactively follow up on all project milestones.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
• Commercially minded with strong negotiation abilities.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple supplier projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of business practices in China and the UAE.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Chinese e‑commerce sourcing platforms (Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, WeChat).
