Civil Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities, manage estimations and ensure project delivery in Dubai. The role combines site supervision with cost control and coordination among multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities on‑site according to approved drawings.
• Prepare, review and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Manage project timelines, milestones and resources such as labour, materials and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment (HSE) guidelines and local regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and architects to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress reports, maintain site logs and assist in drafting as‑built drawings.
• Monitor material consumption, prevent wastage and support cost‑effective execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on building construction, estimation and site management experience with a valid SOE card.
• Good understanding of local building codes, procurement processes and site safety protocols.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in preparing BOQ and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Primavera or MS Project.
• Advanced Excel skills.
