Civil Engineer – Storm Network & Micro Tunneling

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead storm network and micro‑tunneling projects in Dubai. You will work on‑site, ensuring that construction activities meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up construction activities at the site.
• Ensure contractor compliance with construction documents and local authority regulations.
• Review contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material data, and RFIs.
• Provide on‑site direction and supervise inspection staff under the Resident Engineer’s guidance.
• Measure work progress, observe safety practices, and report to the Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Monitor contractor resource allocation and assist with project close‑out documentation.
• Participate in health and safety initiatives as required.
• Perform additional duties related to the position as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in micro‑tunneling, pipe jacking, or other trenchless technologies.
• Experience on fast‑track projects and preferably in Dubai.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
