Civil Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Estimation Engineer to join a leading construction and contracting firm in Dubai. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for civil works and supporting the tendering process.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for civil construction works.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and build cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor scopes.
• Request and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project objectives and constraints.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and conduct site visits to evaluate project scope and site conditions.
• Keep drawing files and related project documents organized in line with company procedures.
• Contribute to the preparation of tenders, bid packages and project proposals.
• Track cost trends and provide input on budgeting and forecasting for projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil estimating or related construction roles.
• Solid understanding of civil construction methods, materials and applicable codes.
