Civil Inspector – Dubai

About the role

Zutari is seeking a Civil Inspector to oversee civil works on infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with RTA and Dubai Municipality standards, project specifications, and approved drawings while maintaining high quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise excavation, backfilling, grading, and subgrade preparation.
• Coordinate field density testing and verify compaction results.
• Monitor asphalt works, concrete pavements, kerb, footpath, and road‑marking installations.
• Check installation of manholes, catch basins, pipelines, culverts, channels, and utility crossings.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and inspection requests.
• Ensure works follow approved method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments.
• Document non‑conformances and support resolution of site issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction inspection, preferably on road and utility projects.
• Familiarity with RTA and Dubai Municipality codes and international standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
