Civil Inspector

About the role

Adecco is recruiting a Civil Inspector for a leading engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on inspecting large‑scale civil projects across the GCC, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of civil engineering works to verify adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues identified during inspections.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure they meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams to facilitate successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering inspection experience within the GCC region.
• Proven background in large‑scale projects and consultancy environments.
• Extensive experience with precast paneling.
• Strong knowledge of local construction codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to analyse complex engineering problems and propose practical solutions.
