Civil Inspector

About the role

The Civil Inspector will ensure quality assurance and compliance across building and road construction projects. Working closely with contractors and the project team, you will verify that work aligns with contract specifications, approved drawings, and established methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of all site works in progress, confirming contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor daily progress of road activities and provide concise reports to line management.
• Inspect, check, and record that work is executed according to approved methodologies and site instructions.
• Report findings to the Resident Engineer (R.E.) and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Verify service locations and ensure their protection throughout construction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction inspection.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• High integrity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
