Civil Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Civil Maintenance Engineer will coordinate all civil and building maintenance activities for ADNOC‑owned properties, including office buildings, VIP villas and leased facilities in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais. The role involves preparing maintenance contracts, technical feasibility studies and cost estimates, as well as developing preventive maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and monitor civil maintenance works against Service Level Agreements, KPIs and company specifications.
• Ensure repairs and structural alterations are executed promptly, safely and in line with professional standards.
• Guide Civil Supervisors across locations on technical matters and contract compliance.
• Prepare and approve annual and monthly preventive maintenance programmes for all civil assets.
• Analyse work plans, identify gaps and take corrective actions to meet scheduled tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of technical feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of experience in civil maintenance or related engineering roles.
• Proven experience managing maintenance contracts and supervising civil works.
• Familiarity with oil and gas facilities and the associated regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate maintenance programmes and cost estimates.
