Civil Maintenance Lead

About the role

The Civil Maintenance Lead will oversee the maintenance of building structures, tunnels, car parks and related infrastructure for Keolis MHI in Dubai. This position combines field work, team leadership and coordination of subcontractors to ensure safe and reliable operation of all civil assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil teams and subcontractors in preventive and corrective maintenance of stations, depots, ancillary buildings, sub‑stations, cutting embankments, walls, tunnels, car parks and signage.
• Plan, allocate and monitor resources for daily maintenance activities.
• Perform on‑site maintenance on safety‑critical structural issues when required.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, work instructions and safety standards.
• Provide training, job familiarisation and performance assessments for team members.
• Assist the Civil Manager in maintenance planning, program development and implementation of complex projects.
• Handle 24‑hour on‑call duties for incidents and emergencies within the civil section.
• Conduct shift and emergency duties, including driving work vehicles to incident sites.
• Perform disciplinary and grievance processes for Civil Team Leaders and Technicians.

Required profile

• At least 24 months of experience in civil maintenance or a related engineering field.
• UAE driving licence and ability to operate work vehicles.
• Capability to work on‑call and respond to emergencies at any time.
• Understanding of safety, health and environmental regulations and commitment to compliance.
