Claims Payment Specialist

About the role

Join a leading insurance assistance provider as a Claims Payment Specialist, responsible for accurate and timely processing of healthcare claim payments in Dubai. The role supports providers, payers and clients, ensuring financial transactions comply with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and send processed claims reports to payers within agreed turnaround times.
• Process provider payments and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) accurately and on schedule.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
• Monitor transactions for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies.
• Support monthly account reconciliations and journal entry postings.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers and clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, claims payments or transaction processing.
• Experience in a TPA, insurance, healthcare provider, hospital, medical centre or BPO environment is highly valued.
