About the role
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining buildings in a clean and orderly condition. This includes heavy cleaning duties such as floor care, rug shampooing, restroom stocking, and washing walls, glass and upholstered furniture.
Key responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep and mop various floor types.
- Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops and loose furniture.
- Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures.
- Empty trash cans and dispose of rubbish.
- Wash and dry windows and glass surfaces.
- Liaise with the line manager to ensure sufficient cleaning products.
- Report any breakages or repair needs observed during cleaning.
- Work to reduce waste and control cleaning costs.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.
Required skills
- Proven ability to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
- Capability to stand for extended periods of time.
