Client Onboarding Officer (Emiratization)

About the role

RAKBANK is seeking a Client Onboarding Officer to lead the end‑to‑end opening and profile updates of corporate and financial institution accounts. The role ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards while delivering a seamless onboarding experience for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of corporate and FI account openings, from document collection to account setup.
• Process and maintain client profile updates, including changes to signatories, shareholders, and company details.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to secure timely submission of onboarding documentation.
• Prepare and review KYC documentation for onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Analyse constitutional documents such as MOA, AOA, board resolutions, and shareholder agreements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, KYC, AML, and internal bank procedures.
• Liaise with Customer Fulfilment, Compliance, Internal Control, and Governance teams.
• Monitor pending onboarding cases, conduct portfolio reviews, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding, KYC, and client profile activities.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of corporate services, processes and systems.
• Relevant experience in business operations, operational risk, business analysis or project management.
