Cloud Consultant - OpenShift

About the role

Red Hat is seeking a Cloud Consultant specialized in Red Hat OpenShift to join its Consulting team in the UAE. You will design and develop cloud‑ready infrastructure and application architectures, implement automated container platforms, and guide customers through strategic cloud decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject‑matter expert on‑site, addressing technical and strategic IT requirements.
• Implement and integrate Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with project and customer teams to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Produce project documentation, diagrams, and support case management.
• Mentor customers and internal teams, promoting automation and DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Proven ability to implement system infrastructure, networking, storage, monitoring, and security in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work onsite at customer locations for more than 50% of the time.
