Cluster Accounting Clerk

About the role

The Cluster Accounting Clerk supports the finance function at Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road, ensuring accurate entry of financial data, maintaining records, and preparing reports. The role involves handling invoices, period‑end closing, and providing professional service to guests and colleagues while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow all company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect assets and guest privacy.
• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Answer telephones and emails using appropriate etiquette.
• Move, lift, carry objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
