About the role
As Cluster Assistant Director of Sales for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, you will drive the commercial performance of both luxury properties, focusing on the leisure segment across key international and regional markets. Working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales and the wider commercial team, you will develop strategic accounts, identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with luxury travel partners.
Key responsibilities
- Drive leisure revenue across both hotels, targeting high‑value travellers, families and groups.
- Identify new source markets and strategic partnerships to grow production and maximise revenue.
- Support achievement of cluster sales targets, budgets and commercial objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, translating commercial priorities into clear account plans and market‑specific initiatives.
- Manage key relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, luxury travel advisors and DMCs.
- Conduct regular account reviews, sales calls, presentations and contracting discussions.
- Guide and develop the Cluster Sales team, ensuring clear priorities and strong execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging source markets to inform sales initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, including a senior sales role.
- Proven track record of developing key accounts and delivering revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of international and regional leisure source markets and luxury travel trends.
- Experience working with luxury travel advisors, tour operators, DMCs and travel agencies.
- Previous experience in a cluster or multi‑property environment is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Required skills
- Strong working knowledge of CRM and hotel sales systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
