Cluster Financial Controller

About the role

The Cluster Financial Controller leads the accounting, finance and information systems functions for a group of hotels, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with both group standards and Saudi regulations. The role supports the General Manager and senior leadership with financial insight to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and performance analyses.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts, partnering with department heads.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, explain variances and provide commercial insights.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with Accor policies, Saudi regulations and statutory obligations.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination and cash management.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager, supporting decision‑making and cost optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems (ERP, PMS, POS) and support pre‑opening financial set‑up.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and belonging.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in hospitality or resort environments.
• Strong background in financial controlling, accounting and reporting.
• Experience with pre‑opening or remote operations is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Saudi financial regulations and IFRS standards.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
