Cluster General Cashier / Storekeeper

About the role

The Cluster General Cashier / Storekeeper ensures accurate financial record‑keeping and cash handling for the Four Points by Sheraton property on Sheikh Zayed Road. You will safeguard cash, maintain financial documents, and support audit processes while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with SOPs.
• Record, store, access and analyse computerized financial information.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers and computer systems.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Audit cashier banks periodically and manage petty cash, cashier banks and contracts.
• Document and act upon cash variances according to SOPs.
• Liaise with the armored‑car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and asset protection.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related cash handling or storekeeping experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
