CNC Detailer

About the role

The CNC Detailer at Electra will translate design concepts into precise CNC‑ready documentation, ensuring that components are manufactured to exact specifications. Working within the Ras Al Khaimah facility, you will collaborate with design, engineering and production teams to deliver high‑quality, efficient CNC outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CNC drawings, technical specifications and work instructions from CAD files or design concepts.
• Convert engineering drawings into machine‑readable formats such as G‑code and CAM files.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances and material requirements before production.
• Maintain and update CNC design documentation, revision records and technical files.
• Troubleshoot programming issues together with machine operators.
• Support production planning by providing accurate lead times and material needs.
• Suggest design or process improvements to optimise CNC efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a CNC Detailer, CNC Programmer or a similar technical role.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or CNC Programming.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or similar).
• Experience using CAM software and generating CNC programming files.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
