CNC & Lathe Machine Operator

About the role

Al Marwan Group is seeking a skilled CNC or Lathe Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team in Sharjah. The role involves operating manual or CNC turning lathes to produce precision metal or plastic components according to engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate manual or CNC lathe machines for turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, grooving, chamfering and other machining operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances and machining parameters.
• Monitor machining cycles, make real‑time adjustments and ensure consistent production quality.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Maintain tooling, replace or sharpen cutting tools as needed and perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Report any defects, dimensional deviations or safety concerns promptly.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of hands‑on experience operating CNC or manual lathes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
