Commercial Analyst (Fixed-Term, 1 Year)

About the role

The Commercial Analyst will serve as the analytical backbone of Shiseido's Commercial team for the GCC region. Working on a one‑year fixed‑term contract, the role reports to the Commercial Director and bridges the Commercial and Finance functions, supporting strategy, budgeting and stakeholder meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly sell‑out reporting cycle: collect, validate and upload retailer data by the 10th of each month, maintain Qlik dashboards, and produce weekly and monthly sell‑out reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Run the NARS reporting pipeline, consolidate sell‑out data across markets, prepare EMEA monthly reports and performance review decks with commentary.
• Issue and control purchase orders and credit notes for the region, manage promo claims, rebates, returns and price discrepancy adjustments in alignment with Finance.
• Deliver monthly finance requests, consolidate year‑to‑go phasing, and manage price increase and ICF file completion, ensuring margin validation.
• Prepare stock coverage and suggested order analysis for UAE partners, collect and analyse monthly budget packs, and support the annual budgeting process.
• Provide seasonal and event analysis, including market share and ranking studies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in commercial finance or business analysis.
• Excellent data‑validation skills and ability to manage end‑to‑end reporting cycles.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management, acting as the single point of contact between Commercial and Finance teams.
• Detail‑oriented with the capability to handle multiple finance operations such as PO issuance, credit notes and price adjustments.
