About the role
The Commis 3 supports the All Day Dining operation at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal. Working in a high‑volume kitchen, you will prepare ingredients, cook and assemble dishes, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, chop, peel, weigh, measure and mix ingredients for cooking and cold dishes.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, testing foods for proper doneness.
- Monitor food quality, temperature of appliances and finished dishes, and follow food safety checklists.
- Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and ensure proper sanitation of kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
- Follow company safety, security and uniform policies, report incidents and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
- Food preparation, portioning and temperature monitoring.
