Commis II - Pastry

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a motivated Pastry Commis II to join its vibrant culinary team. This full‑time, onsite position supports the pastry department in delivering the high‑standard, luxury desserts and baked goods expected by our discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Label and date all food containers, rotate stock, and ensure perishables are stored at correct temperatures.
• Check par levels for each shift, prepare necessary items, and assist with freezer pulls and line set‑up.
• Identify out‑of‑stock items or potential shortages and return unused food to designated storage areas.
• Assist in monitoring food costs and help develop corrective actions for any discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstations in line with Four Seasons standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery environment, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the Four Seasons brand.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and ingredient handling.
• Ability to accurately label, date, and rotate food items.
• Understanding of inventory management and food cost control basics.
