Commis III – Hotel Kitchen Role

About the role

Join the hotel kitchen team at The WB Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton and help brighten guests’ days through delicious food. As a Commis III you will work under senior chefs, preparing and cooking menu items while delivering the warm hospitality the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Manage guest orders efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Execute complex recipes, oversee stations and conduct quality control and inventory checks.
• Inspect and finalize plates to meet presentation and quality standards before service.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workspace, following food‑handling and safety protocols.
• Prepare requisitions and manage inventory needs for supplies and food items.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook or Trainee in a 5‑star hotel or high‑standard restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
• Ability to stay calm and solve problems under pressure.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid and noisy kitchen environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.
