About the role
We are looking for a Commis to join the culinary team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. The successful candidate will support food preparation and service across the hotel’s outlets, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and assist in cooking according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all work areas, following HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Support banquet, event and function services as required.
- Monitor food storage, dating, rotation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in departmental training and follow checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Uphold personal hygiene, grooming, fire safety and health & safety rules.
Required profile
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
- Understanding of HACCP, food safety and sanitation practices.
- Basic knife handling skills.
