About the role
The One&Only The Palm Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Commis Waiter/Waitress to join its Food & Beverage team. Working in a chic, beachfront restaurant, you will support the service team in delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect the resort’s high standards of hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain all mise‑en‑place before service begins.
- Assist guests with food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge of menu items and beverages.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in upholding resort standards and operating procedures.
- Report any equipment issues, breakages, or maintenance needs to the team leader.
- Participate in team events, training sessions, and daily briefings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment.
Required profile
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to personal hygiene standards.
