Compliance - Market Surveillance Analyst

About the role

Our Local Programs and Regulatory Compliance team ensures adherence to local laws across the markets we serve. Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA) is seeking a full‑time Analyst to join its Market Regulation team, supporting a U.S. derivatives exchange regulated by the CFTC.

Key responsibilities

• Perform real‑time monitoring of exchange activity, security feeds, and product safety data to detect market abuse such as wash trading or spoofing.
• Utilize surveillance tools and dashboards to flag anomalies, conduct post‑trade forensic analysis, and investigate potential rule violations.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports for senior leadership and assist in regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of surveillance protocols, KYC/AML procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to enhance surveillance systems and liaise with external regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Math, or a Juris Doctorate.
• 4+ years of compliance experience in financial services, preferably in derivatives, tradfi, or crypto markets.
• Familiarity with futures markets, commodities, and trade surveillance platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment and flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
