About the role
We are seeking a Compliance Officer who will also act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for our operations in the United Arab Emirates. In this position you will be the sole individual responsible for establishing and maintaining the compliance function across the UAE, reporting directly to senior management. The role is based in Dubai and the candidate must already reside in the UAE, giving you full ownership of the compliance framework as the primary point of contact for regulators.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and own the entire compliance function for the organization in the UAE, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.
Required profile
- 5+ years of compliance experience in the region within the financial services sector.
- Preference for experience with the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
- Previous experience in the brokerage sector is beneficial.
- Candidate must be Western‑educated and based in the UAE.
